Job Title

Technical Project Manager Position:

  • Programme and Project Delivery – Develop comprehensive programme and project plans, ensuring effective interdependency management across workstreams from initiation through to post-implementation.
  • Issue & Risk Mitigation – Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, driving innovative solutions to ensure successful delivery against key project objectives.
  • Budget Management and Resource Allocation – Ensure the programme is adequately funded and resourced to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders within the organisation, providing regular updates and maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Governance Frameworks – Establish and maintain appropriate governance structures, ensuring consistent reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Critical Issue Escalation – Identify and escalate critical issues accurately and in a timely manner to ensure swift resolution.
  • Change Management Initiatives – Lead change management initiatives to support smooth adoption of new technologies and processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional project teams, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead integrated teams comprising internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead change across the organisation.
  • Produce high-quality analytical solutions, capable of proposing effective technology and process improvements aligned with business objectives.
  • Work proficiently in structured project management methodologies, covering the full project lifecycle and tools such as MS Project and Jira.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, including a minimum of 5 years delivering large-scale, complex programmes.
  • Proven experience in implementing major projects, with a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and resilience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage integrated teams and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead change across the organisation.
  • Strong adaptability in dynamic business environments with multiple competing priorities.
  • A highly analytical mindset, capable of proposing effective technology and process solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Proficient in structured project management methodologies, covering the full project lifecycle and tools such as MS Project and Jira.
