Migration Expert Role

To excel in this Migration Expert role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the Healthirl Migrations Team's future. Your core responsibility will be to migrate users, devices, and mailboxes from legacy domains to the national Healthirl domain.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite support at specific sites or multiple sites, including mobile deployments.
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers to receive migration schedules and perform on-site migrations.
  • Manage issues through to resolution and ensure an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Escalate technical issues to POD Lead and/or Technical Manager as needed.
  • Respond to Service Desk calls in a timely manner and travel to sites for user support.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and end-users.
  • Perform system administration tasks using Active Directory.
  • Configure server shares, set up new shared folders, and amend Windows accounts/mailboxes.
  • Update email branding sites and liaise with third-party vendors for software/hardware installations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software faults, and refer complex issues to third parties.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and applications.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in an IT Support environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and report writing.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated evidence of producing quality deliverables.
  • Understanding of the Irish Healthcare system.

Desirable Skills:
  • Third Level Education Qualification.
  • Professional certificates such as Comptia, Microsoft, Cisco.
