Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees, contractors, and clients on construction sites. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety and be able to lead by example.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with site management and other stakeholders. They will also have the ability to multi-task and work efficiently across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular health and safety audits and inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Liaising with site supervision and EHS manager to identify areas for improvement
  • Investigating incidents and accidents and implementing corrective actions
  • Delivering health and safety training programs and workshops
  • Managing and maintaining health and safety records and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognised health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a health and safety role
  • Previous experience working on construction sites an advantage
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid Irish driver's license required
  • Valid SAFE PASS and manual handling certificates
  • Valid working permit
