Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to assist in the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with project delivery on time and within agreed parameters.
  • Provide document control support to site management and maintain accurate records of construction documents.
  • Manage submittals through the approvals process, track procurement and delivery of equipment and complete receipt verification once delivered.

Liaise with design teams and supply chains to ensure systems meet specifications and drawings.

Timeline planning of all civil and MEICA installations from contract award to completion and handover of all documentation.

Writing engineering reports, method statements, and commissioning schedules.

Evaluate RFI responses to ensure there are no engineering issues.

Review and answer technical queries related to specifications, drawings, materials, and equipment.

Issue requisitions and ensure all materials delivered meet specifications and submittals.

Develop and maintain Project Asset Register.

Development of Equipment Commissioning Plans and compilation of O&M file.

Key Competencies and Skills:
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in PC skills including MS office and project software is advantageous.
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Strong engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
