Young People Care Lead

Create and maintain a secure, supportive environment for young people in our care.
We require the implementation of Care and Placement Plans for every individual placed with us.
Promote the rights and responsibilities of each young person.
We participate in ongoing planning and development for Children's Residential Centres.
Ensure efficient use of resources within the centre.
Consult with young people, their families, staff, and external stakeholders as necessary.
Maintain the upkeep of the centre, its facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
Contribute to the recruitment and selection of centre staff.
Engage in activities suitable for children/young people in our care.
Use physical intervention and restraint in accordance with local policies and procedures.
Manage centre finances effectively.
Supervise and manage centre staff.
Organize staffing rotas and ensure appropriate staff levels and skill mix.
Participate in relevant professional development and training.
Adhere to policies, procedures, guidelines, and safe practice standards, as well as relevant legislation and regulations.
Have knowledge of HIQA Standards and comply with associated Tusla protocols.
