Tender Specialist Role

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Tender Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders to supply our products.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue quotations from customers and internal sales teams, preparing written price confirmations as required.
  • Search for relevant tender notices aligning with our business needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to guarantee tender submissions meet customer deadlines and specifications.
  • Oversee the compilation of tenders and bids to ensure they are handled professionally, efficiently, and compliantly.
  • Offer support on complex tenders as needed.
  • Collaborate with global departments to gather information necessary for tenders.
  • Maintain accurate records of tender files for historical reference.
  • Update pricing on relevant systems as necessary for accurate order entry.

Requirements

  • Experience or knowledge in pricing, tenders, or public procurement is advantageous.
  • A legal or business qualification can be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English is essential.
  • Excellent written communication skills in the relevant languages.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective research and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, with clerical speed and accuracy.
  • Capacity to multitask.
  • Strong customer focus (internal and external).
  • Positive attitude and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Knowledge of pricing and tenders software can be advantageous.
  • Williness to travel on company business.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate European time zones.
