Job Title:

Director of Service Delivery

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Service Delivery to oversee the effective management and day-to-day operations of designated centres within a specified area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, effective, and person-centred services that meet the needs of our residents.

  • Ensure efficient management of centre resources, staff, and services to achieve organisational goals.
  • Develop and implement service plans that promote person-centred practice and support individualised care.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of strategic objectives through collaboration with the Senior Management Team.
Essential Qualifications/Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A third-level qualification in Social Care, Nursing, or an equivalent field.
  • Relevant managerial qualifications (minimum Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
  • A minimum of five years' experience in social care or nursing, with at least three years at PIC or PPIM level or higher senior management experience.
  • Strong knowledge and competency in relevant regulations and policies, including HIQA, New Directions, and current best practices in person-centred practice.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with experience in direct line supervision and management.
  • Experience in service development, service improvement, and audits.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car, as this role may require travel.
