Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a professional with a positive attitude for the role of Goods Out Supervisor in Wilton. This position requires supervising a team of warehouse workers across various functions, ensuring workload is completed within agreed timeframe, and scheduling routine tasks.

The Goods-Out Team Supervisor must ensure that all functions of warehouse operations run smoothly in a professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to complete planned tasks while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Lead the Team and liaise with the Duty Manager in a positive manner.
  • Load trucks efficiently with correct handling of product to reduce damage/waste.
  • Offer process improvements to the Warehouse Manager when observing inaccuracies.
  • Ensure shift is run in a smooth and proactive manner.
  • Delegate tasks to the Team and establish tasks for the upcoming shift.
  • Plan weekly schedule to ensure completion of all tasks in a time-efficient manner.
  • Assist with replenishment of the warehouse as required.
  • Operate mobile equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and leadership skills.
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift Licence is preferred.
