Envelope Façade Manager Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the building envelope and facade management process. This includes ensuring that health and safety is a top priority throughout the design development and installation process.
Key responsibilities include managing the design development process, coordinating between various building envelope sub-contractors, and managing the technical submittal process through formal approval with the design team.
The role also involves managing logistics of the envelope/façade install with the JJR site team and sub-contractors, agreeing installation check sheets with sub-contractors, and ensuring compliance therewith.
Furthermore, the job holder will carry out installation checks, raise non-conformance observations, and quality assurance as required.
In addition, the position requires witnessing onsite and offsite testing, holding regular progress meetings with sub-contractors, and ensuring timely certification from sub-contractors.
The job holder will work closely with JJR's commercial team on commercial matters including monthly valuations, variations, and value engineering.
Finally, the role requires tracking sub-contractor progress against their installation programmes and highlighting any issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess a strong construction-related degree, 5+ years of experience in a similar role, and good understanding of Irish Building Regulations and H&S Standards.
Furthermore, the candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
A strong work ethic and ability to 'get the job done' are also essential for this role.
