Job Overview

The Business Intelligence Architect will lead the design and development of an Analytic Foundation, a suite of analytical capabilities with a comprehensive data platform, offered through APIs delivering data and insights from various points along a central datastore.

This role involves close collaboration with other business areas to build solutions that drive customer value. Engineers work in small, flexible teams, contributing to designing, building, and testing features ranging from UI development to backend data modeling and architecture.

We are seeking an innovative and skilled individual to join our team as a Business Intelligence Architect within our Client Services organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement complex features and push analytics boundaries.
  • Build and maintain scalable analytics and data models.
  • Write and review high-quality, performant, well-tested code.
  • Mentor junior engineers and teammates.
  • Innovate and improve team development processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand user needs and develop new modules.

Our ideal candidate has 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience in an agile environment and proficiency in Python or Scala, Spark, Hadoop (Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi, Scoop), SQL. Experience deploying data-driven applications and machine learning systems at scale is also required.
