Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a development team to design, build and maintain backend infrastructure for a growing platform.
  • Work across multiple services and modules using a variety of modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., web frameworks, databases, caching systems, messaging queues).
  • Develop and maintain APIs and backend services, including integration with third-party systems such as payment processors, communication tools, and external platforms.
  • Utilise version control tools to manage source code and collaborate effectively with other developers.
  • Write, run, and maintain automated tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in backend systems as they arise.
  • Optimise system performance and scalability to ensure the platform can handle increasing traffic and workloads.
  • Design systems to efficiently manage traffic distribution and maintain system stability under load.

Requirements:

  • Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of Python 3.11+; familiarity with tools like LangChain and LangGraph is an advantage.
  • Modular Development: Ability to collaborate with other back-end developers to assemble proven individual modules within a multiservice, multi-module platform.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Passion for AI with a focus on developer tools like Gen AI technologies. Willingness to explore and leverage innovative tools in the AI space.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with both front-end and back-end teams. Adaptability to work in environments with evolving requirements and some level of uncertainty. Openness to participate in daily stand-ups and scrum meetings.
  • Experience Level: Typically, 4–6 years+ of experience, with a strong aptitude for embracing new technologies and methodologies.
  • Additional Qualities: Engaging and positive personality, able to work well in team settings. Proactive in learning new technologies and adapting to new methodologies.
