Job Title: Project Estimator

The role of the Project Estimator is to oversee cost planning, budgeting, and cost management for various projects within the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Heavy Industrial sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cost Planning: Develop detailed cost plans and estimates for each project phase.
  • Bid Analysis: Analyze contractor bids and prepare tender enquiry packages for construction contracts.
  • Earned Value Measurement: Provide input into earned value progress measurement during the design phase.
  • Data Collection: Gather and maintain historic data to benchmark project metrics for future planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in Project Controls or Project Quantity Surveying. Proficiency in tools such as CostX, BuildSoft, Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint is essential.
