Job Summary

A dynamic Management Accountant is required to drive financial excellence across multiple entities.

This role involves owning the month-end accounts, profit and loss statements, and financial reporting for several business units. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or FMCG and be able to provide insightful analysis of performance across key principal accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver monthly performance reporting packs with in-depth analysis of performance, highlighting variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide detailed revenue and margin reports and analytics by product, business unit, and customer.
  • Prepare comprehensive support schedules and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver a best-in-class finance function.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track KPI targets, evaluate opportunities, and develop actionable insights.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA) with FMCG experience.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in deploying and developing ERP platforms (Microsoft AX or SAP).
  • Process improvement experience adding automated processes improving accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills, commercial acumen, and experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
