Key Responsibilities

This role involves collaborating with various functions to enhance quality awareness, facilitate Good Manufacturing Practices and implement improvements for product quality. This includes monitoring key quality indicators within manufacturing processes to identify unexpected events and preventative measures.

  • Conduct regular checks and reviews of manufacturing operations to ensure product quality is maintained.
  • Review and evaluate all internal batch records to facilitate disposition of product for release.
  • Oversee the Incoming Materials Testing Laboratory and site retains process.
  • Manage the final QA release on all incoming components.
  • Lead the Incoming Components Team.
  • Participate in site commissioning and qualification programs.
  • Review and participate in deviations and changes to manufacturing operations to ensure investigation and assessment are carried out and actions implemented.
  • Support complex investigations and present findings clearly.
  • Manage On Hold & Reject lists for the site.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level with at least 3 years industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of EU and US regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in designing and implementing quality systems and/or start-ups an advantage.
  • Knowledge of inhalation dosage forms an advantage.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Proficiency in electronic systems/databases such as documentation and SAP.
  • Good team working and communication skills across functions.
  • Able to work flexibly in a changing environment.
  • Attention to detail and priority management essential.
  • Flexible to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
