We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Advisor to join our team in Cork.
This role will involve working closely with project teams to implement and maintain effective EHS Management Systems, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert EHS advice, guidance, and training to project teams.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive safety culture at all times.
- Develop, review, and maintain project-specific EHS Plans, RAMS, and related documents.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify training needs and deliver sessions to ensure that project teams have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and report on EHS KPIs, trends, and risks, recommending improvements to senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with legislation, standards, and company procedures.
- Support the prevention of incidents through proactive hazard identification and risk management.
- Represent EHS at site, regional, and client meetings.
- 3+ years EHS experience in construction or a similar industry.
- Diploma (NFQ 8) in Occupational H&S and Certificate (NFQ 6) in Environmental Management.
- Relevant certifications: Safe Pass, CSCS, Train the Trainer, First Aid, ISO14000 & ISO45000 internal auditor.
- Solid knowledge of Construction Regulations, CDM roles, and EHS Management Systems.
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality EHS reports.
- Member of IOSH or equivalent professional body.
Salary: €45k-€55k DOE Annual Bonus Excellent career progression opportunities
