This role works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Reservations team, and on-site operations teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leverage Digital Channels: Identify and target potential customers through traditional and digital channels.
- Nurture Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales and close deals.
- DMC Partnerships: Maintain and create long-lasting relationships with Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
- Reservations Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the reservations office.
- Traffic Monitoring: Ensure all telephone/email traffic is monitored and reservations are appropriately recorded and responded to.
- Social Media Campaigns: Manage and execute social media campaigns across all platforms.
- Content Creation: Create content that supports lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics, taking appropriate actions to optimize campaigns and increase sales effectiveness.
- CRM System Maintenance: Maintain an organized CRM system, tracking leads, monitoring customer inquiries, and providing after-sales support.
- Regular Reporting: Provide regular reporting to management on customer journey, feedback, market conditions, and competition.
- Event Planning: Organize and plan corporate events and group reservations.
- Wedding and Event Administration: Handle all administration for weddings and events.
- Event Function Sheets: Create event function sheets and liaise with property General Managers and Head Chefs.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the Accounts department.
- Site Inspections and Client Meetings: Hold site inspections and client meetings.
- Dublin Events Scene: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Dublin events scene.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Experience: Previous management experience in Sales/Reservations/Events within the hospitality industry.
- Digital Marketing: Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media platforms.
- Online Reservations Systems: Experience with online reservations systems (e.g., Collins).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team Leadership: Ability to work as part of a team, as well as lead and motivate staff.
- Delegation and Prioritization: Excellent delegation and prioritization skills.
- Reporting Experience: Fluent written and verbal English with previous reporting experience.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail.
- Multitasking: Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
