Job Opportunity: International Import Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of International Import Coordinator. As part of a dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating operational and administrative processes related to imports across air, sea, and international road freight.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage import processes, including invoicing, job costing, and documentation.
  • Prepare customs entry documentation, ensuring all consignments are accurately completed and invoiced.
  • Cultivate efficient collection procedures.
  • Monitor tracking of consignments and handle pre-alerts with precision.
  • Deliver timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Resolve customer queries regarding clearance and delivery requirements, consistently striving to exceed expectations for service excellence and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide updates on queries and track shipments, ensuring adherence to compliance and service level agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an administrative import role within freight forwarding.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the freight forwarding sector, with hands-on experience in international road freight and/or air or sea freight.
  • A solid understanding of Irish customs processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • The capacity to complete a thorough background check as part of the hiring process.
