Senior Finance Leadership Role

This critical position plays a pivotal role in the organisation's financial management, governance, and accountability. Reporting directly to the CEO and Director of Operations, it presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned finance professional.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior stakeholders.
  2. Lead annual budgeting initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
  3. Maintain rigorous compliance with all financial practices and reports, administering payroll and preparing employer returns on time.
  4. Coordinate statutory audit processes, liaising with external auditors and maintaining risk registers.
  5. Develop and implement high governance standards through transparent reporting, reviewing internal policies regularly and ensuring current relevance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior finance role within the not-for-profit sector.
  3. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  4. Leadership abilities with capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  5. Proficiency in accounting and payroll software, advanced Excel skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presenting to senior stakeholders.
