Job Overview

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will provide expert technical support to the Network Enhancements Department.

This role involves working closely with internal colleagues, external design teams, and contractors/suppliers to deliver high-quality civil and structural engineering designs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current industry standards, including Eurocodes, TII Standards, and Health & Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver drawings, documentation, and other deliverables on time;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A third-level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering;
  • Membership of Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional governing body;
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience working in a Civil and/or Structural Engineering Design office;
  • Chartered engineer - desirable;
