Freight Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Freight Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning the movement of goods between countries, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
- Duties will include interacting with customers via email and phone to provide updates on their consignments, receiving and booking transport movements from clients, and assigning vehicles and trailers to transport movements.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of driver hours, breaks, and loading limits, as well as basic knowledge of Customs procedures between the UK and Ireland.
- They will also possess excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing transport operations.
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Transport Planner/Administrator is required.
- Strong IT literacy and proficiency in spoken and written English (second language acceptable) is essential.
- Flexibility to work on a Monday to Friday schedule, including occasional Saturday shifts post-training, is preferred.
