HR Specialist

The role of an HR Specialist is pivotal in driving the organization's people strategy, working closely with senior management to deliver a forward-thinking and employee-centric agenda.
The specialist will oversee the full personnel lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, and offboarding processes. This encompasses managing job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, medical assessments, and reference checks.
In addition, the HR Specialist will be responsible for administering HRIS processes, such as employee onboarding, personal data updates, and annual leave tracking. They will work collaboratively with the HR team to enhance onboarding processes, materials, and resources.
The successful candidate will also assist with arranging logistics for training programs and HR-related meetings, review HR policies to ensure compliance with employment legislation, contribute to updating and improving the Employee Handbook, and support talent and performance management reporting.
They will serve as a point of contact for HR queries, arrange on-site meetings when necessary, and collaborate with the Early Careers team on graduate, apprentice, and student programs.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or CIPD qualification in HR, have experience in a fast-paced HR environment, be IT proficient with strong systems and software skills, exhibit excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), and comfort in challenging processes to drive improvements are essential qualities required for this role.
