Job Opportunity: Electronic Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronic engineering, robotics, and cybersecurity.

The primary responsibilities of this role include providing technical support for various programs, maintaining laboratory equipment, installing software and hardware, and assisting with procurement and lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to students and colleagues.

This is a full-time position, requiring at least 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no more than one night shift per week. Overtime will be paid accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support for staff across all departmental programs.
  2. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized laboratory equipment.
  3. Install, configure, and manage software and hardware relevant to electronic design, simulation, and programming.
  4. Assist with the procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management of technical equipment and components.
  5. Evaluate and ensure all equipment and lab environments comply with safety standards and best practices.
