Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter Service Manager

This role is pivotal in service planning, coordination and management relating to the Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter / Out-Patient Antimicrobial Therapy service. A key objective of this position is to oversee the successful implementation of a Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter allowing central access for intravenous antibiotics for the management of acute infections.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing the Out-Patient Antimicrobial Therapy service for access to intravenous antibiotics in the home
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained through effective quality assurance processes
- Optimizing resource allocation and utilization
- Driving practice development initiatives
- Fostering collaboration and professional leadership within the team
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and resource management principles
- Experience in managing Out-Patient Antimicrobial Therapy services
