Financial Accountant Role

The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting to support key business decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Monthly management accounts must be produced and up-to-date financial information ensured.
  • Trial balances must be prepared in readiness for annual audits.
  • Cash and bank reconciliation across stores must be overseen and controlled.
  • External auditors must be coordinated with and statutory accounts prepared.
  • VAT and PAYE return submissions must be managed.
  • Labour cost tracking and analysis must be conducted.
Key Candidate Requirements:
  • 2–5 years' relevant experience in financial accounting, audit, or reporting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish tax, VAT, PAYE, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
