Our company is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Role:
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and completed, guaranteeing seamless equipment operation.
  • Implement an effective training program for engineers and apprentices, driving knowledge acquisition and skill development.
  • Support the rollout of skills development initiatives in the engineering department, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Provide weekly reporting on key performance indicators, identifying areas for enhancement and addressing challenges promptly.
  • Offer technical support and general maintenance services, ensuring site operations run efficiently.
  • Identify process improvements opportunities to enhance machine availability and efficiency.
  • Ensure continuous operation of all factory utility systems, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Research and deliver capital investment programs within the engineering function, adhering to high standards of management regarding spare parts and inventory.
  • Manage the engineering department's operating expenses, optimizing budget allocation and resource utilization.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, prioritizing health and safety practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess a relevant engineering qualification.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience managing an engineering or maintenance department.
  • Demonstrate strong people management skills, fostering a collaborative and motivated team culture.
  • Have experience with lean manufacturing principles, driving efficiency and productivity gains.
