Job Overview

The Senior Care Leader plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for residents at Virtue Integrated Care's nursing homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the team, ensuring resident-centered care is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Promote person-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Conduct regular audits, develop action plans, and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage workforce planning, including selection, mentoring, and corrective actions, while empowering floor managers to excel in their roles.
  • Analyze performance from business and financial perspectives, driving financial goals and objectives.
  • Ensure proactive risk identification and escalation, as well as informed decision-making within budget constraints.
Requirements
  • A qualified RGN with at least 3 years' experience in the last 6 years in older adult care.
  • Not less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in health and social care.
  • Current registration with NMBI and a post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
  • Detailed knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations, with a post-registration qualification in dementia care and gerontology being highly desirable.
