Hotel Reception Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team in Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry. As a key member of the front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional atmosphere.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, can work under stress, and are able to effectively handle public inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests by providing clear and concise information about hotel services and facilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, courteous, and responsive to guest needs.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Operate hotel software systems including Hotsoft to efficiently manage bookings and guest information.
  • Maintain a well-presented and professional demeanor at all times, adhering to high standards of personal grooming and appearance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a hotel reception role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • The ability to work under stress and deal with the public effectively, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests alike.
