Job Title: Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of corporation tax for the Nordic region, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee management and reporting of US GAAP and local GAAP tax accounting requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax risk management for the Nordic region (Norway, Denmark, Sweden), mitigating potential risks.
  • Develop standard operating procedure documents for tax processes across the region, incorporating best practices and controls.
  • Implement and train stakeholders on new tax processes or requirements, ensuring seamless adoption.
  • Maintain cash taxes forecast and assist with global cash repatriation projects, optimizing financial outcomes.
  • Provide support across the region for tax audits, resolving complex issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Direct taxation experience in the Nordic region, with a strong understanding of regional laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Swedish or Nordic language, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • 5+ years direct tax experience, with a proven track record of managing complex tax matters.
  • Transfer pricing exposure in a large multinational business, with a deep understanding of tax implications.
  • Industry experience, with a focus on tax management and compliance.
  • US GAAP knowledge, with the ability to apply principles to real-world scenarios.
