We are seeking a Safety and Compliance Professional to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety or environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify Potential Hazards: Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and risks within the workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and Implement Control Measures: Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement effective control measures to mitigate identified hazards and risks.
  • Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to employees, contractors, and visitors on occupational health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain Compliance Records: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of records related to occupational health and safety, including incident reports, inspection results, and training records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • OHS or Environmental Qualification: A qualification in occupational health and safety or environmental management is highly desirable.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-risk industry, with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and regulations.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to identify hazards, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train employees, collaborate across departments, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
