Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Professional

About the Role:

  • This is a Dublin-based position within a leading construction company.
  • Become part of a dynamic health and safety team, working on large-scale projects with significant budgets.
  • Main responsibilities will include monitoring subcontractors' and project teams' safety performance, conducting training sessions and site orientations, assisting with the collection of health and safety documentation, ensuring staff awareness of their obligations, actively raising awareness of health hazards and providing on-site training, implementing HSE standards, systems, and processes, and maintaining inspection records for activities and plant equipment.

About You:

  • You will hold a relevant qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in occupational health and safety is required.
  • Prior experience working with main contractors is desirable but not essential.
  • Key skills will include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work at heights, experience with risk assessment and method statement development, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • You must be able to demonstrate your knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
