Key Responsibilities
  • Offer comprehensive administrative support, including preparing legal documents, managing calendars, and coordinating correspondence.
  • Assist with litigation case management, including filing legal documents, tracking deadlines, and maintaining case files.
  • Manage bankruptcy-related filings, documentation, and legal procedures.
  • Draft, format, and review litigation and bankruptcy documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Coordinate meetings, hearings, and court appearances for solicitors.
  • Maintain both electronic and paper-based case files in accordance with firm protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing solicitors, and internal team members.
  • Handle scheduling, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks for senior solicitors.
  • Contribute to special projects and team initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Solid experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation and bankruptcy.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and litigation procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
