Job Summary

Senior Spa Massage Therapist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Spa Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality massage therapies and providing exceptional guest care.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a variety of treatments to clients, including body massages, facials, and spa treatments. They will also be required to maintain equipment and sample inventory of products, keep documentation up-to-date, and ensure treatment rooms and wider spa areas are clean, well-stocked, safe and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with procedures as outlined in the Department Standards Manual.
  • Answer the telephone and handle bookings/enquiries.
  • Deliver a variety of spa services in a safe and comfortable manner.
  • Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products.
  • Keep documentation and update client files.
  • Keep a clean and stocked room.
  • Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.
  • Apply best practices and stay up to date with market trends.
  • Carry out checks to ensure treatment rooms and wider spa areas are clean, well-stocked with equipment and products, safe and hygienic.
  • Ensure spa equipment is working and coordinate safety and maintenance checks and repairs with the maintenance team where necessary.
  • Monitor and control stock levels and inform the spa manager when replenishment is needed.
  • Provide direct support to the spa manager when required, including assisting with stock ordering, stock control, or training of staff.
  • Identify maintenance issues and report accordingly.
  • Provide a direct communication line with the spa manager to inform of customer care issues or breaches in company procedures.
  • Act as a role model for junior therapists; help mentor and train new starters.
  • Attend meetings and participate in required trainings.
