Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Dublin West. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business operations, with interaction at all levels and overall responsibility for financial reporting and budgeting.

The position offers the opportunity to work in a thriving Irish business, with a hybrid working model available after an introductory phase.

Key Responsibilities:
Production of monthly group financial reports Production and preparation of monthly management accounts and budgets Co-ordination and collation of board reports from each trading entity for review with the Directors Providing valuable insights into monthly financial reporting so that the management team is informed of variances in financial reporting to budgets Assistance in implementing controls, policies and systems improvement initiatives Support in the group budgeting process Assistance with year-end audit and tax work Aid in accounting and reporting issues Ad hoc projects and systems work
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant Experience working in the manufacturing sector Ability to work on own initiative Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels Proven ability to adapt to new systems Proven ability to review processes with a view to improving them Excellent understanding of current accounting standards, practice and guidance
