Job Title: Technical Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for providing technical support to equipment engineers in the development, validation and transfer of automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing and troubleshooting functions using technical specifications and layouts.
  • Operate, test and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
  • Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
  • Record test results and prepare written documentation.
  • Perform operational testing and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
  • Participate in equipment development activities under supervision, including assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures and processes.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and process improvement techniques highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
