Job Description

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to live full and meaningful lives. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver person-centred supports that enable people to participate fully in their communities.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work flexibly across various settings. A strong understanding of health and social care principles is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver supports that promote community integration and participation.
  • Support individuals to access community-based services and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A FETAC/QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care/Healthcare or relevant qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
