Job Title: Customer Service Ambassador
You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through a helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable approach.
Your daily tasks will include assisting the team in the smooth running of the store, maintaining high standards, accepting and paying out bets, and providing excellent customer service.
The role involves opening and closing the business, and occasionally managing shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily shop operations.
• Lead shop operations in the absence of the Shop and Assistant Manager, including:
• Opening and closing the shop
• Managing and guiding the shop team
• Cash management procedures
• Occasionally manage the shop, providing development opportunities.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while undertaking training to upskill and progress within the company.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable approach.
• Accept bets accurately through multiple channels, including betting terminals and in-shop transactions via the EPOS System.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, introducing customers to the multi-channel/digital journey.
• Work under pressure, remaining calm and seeking continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards of shop presentation throughout your shift.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and shop procedures at all times.
• Work effectively within a team environment.
• Adhere to Social Responsibility duties.
Essential Skills and Experience
We are looking for a customer-focused individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be adaptable, and possess attention to detail and strong numeracy skills. A passion for the sporting industry/events and ability to build rapport with customers is essential.
