We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

Our client is a leading provider of civil engineering services, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As a Construction Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise on-site teams, including tradespeople and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate daily activities, liaising with project managers, engineers, and planners.
  • Monitor work quality and compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Order and allocate materials, tools, and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Foreperson on civil engineering projects, preferably within Ireland or the UK.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering construction methods and materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a collaborative approach to team management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
