MEP Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. As an MEP Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing development budgets and feasibility appraisals, implementing value management and value engineering, and preparing estimates including system take-offs and material take-offs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP Quantity Surveying or MEP Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in consultancy or contracting environment. They should be proficient in using common office programs and IT, and have experience in digital take-off, BIM, and life cycle analysis/carbon assessment software.

The successful candidate will be able to work proactively within project teams, and have a commercially and contractually focused approach. They should also have technical knowledge of MEP installations, and the ability to identify, critically appraise/evaluate, measure, and describe MEP installations for cost estimating and tender document preparation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Level 9 Post Graduate Certificate in MEP Quantity Surveying or B.Eng. in MEP Engineering
  • 3+ years MEP estimating experience in Consultancy or Contracting environment
  • Proficiency using common office programs and IT
  • Technical knowledge of MEP installations
