The Cafe Manager is responsible for the overall success of our cafe, overseeing both front-of-house and kitchen operations.
This entails leading, training, and supervising a diverse team to ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
The Cafe Manager plays a vital role in maintaining a positive work environment that fosters growth and development among team members.
- Manage staff schedules, performance, and professional growth within the cafe
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and develop strong supplier relationships
- Monitor and achieve daily sales targets, labor costs, and profit margins
- E nsure compliance with food safety, health & safety regulations
- Handle customer feedback professionally and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering outstanding customer experiences through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a cafe, restaurant, or food retail management role
- Strong background in customer service and leadership
- Knowledge of food safety standards and protocols
- Proven ability to manage budgets, stock, and employee rosters
