Job Title: Linguistic Content Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced linguistic content specialist to localise Call of Duty content from English to Japanese. As a key member of our Language Services department, you will be responsible for managing the quality and consistency of all Japanese content across various platforms.

Your Mission:

  • Ensuring accurate and high-quality translations in both traditional and post-editing workflows.
  • Implementing new workflows to improve speed and efficiency without compromising on quality.
  • Partnering closely with project management and other language specialists to ensure authenticity and player focus in Japanese content.
  • Providing guidance to external vendors and internal testers; answering style and translation queries.
  • Proactively tracking and evaluating linguistic bugs and quality issues.
  • Maintaining and evolving translation assets (glossary, termbase, translation memories and style guides).

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Japanese translator or language specialist, ideally in the games industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in post-editing and reviewing machine translation output is highly desirable.
  • Experience using computer-assisted translation tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven workflows is a plus.
