Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion our EHS strategy by embedding robust systems, policies, and procedures across the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a key advisor to project teams, management, and subcontractors on all health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations, industry standards, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting and sustaining safe working practices across the site.
  • Lead the delivery of site-specific safety training including onboarding inductions for new employees and subcontractor personnel.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and implementation of task-specific EHS documentation such as RAMS (risk assessments, method statements), permits to work, and SPAs.
  • Conduct scheduled site audits and safety inspections, generating actionable reports and ensuring timely resolution of any findings.
  • Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring root cause analysis, escalation to relevant stakeholders, and communication of lessons learned.
  • Drive proactive completion and documentation of safety interventions, promoting a preventative safety culture.
  • Maintain and manage all EHS-related registers, records, and documentation; produce detailed reports and present findings to senior management when required.
  • Support site teams in developing and disseminating Toolbox Talks and EHS communications.
