Job Overview

A successful Store Leader is required to drive retail sales growth by meeting and exceeding ongoing sales targets. This customer-focused role demands team building, motivational skills, creativity, innovation, integrity, time management, organisational skills, and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all visual merchandising standards are attractive and aligned with weekly changes in accordance with celebratory and promotional events. They will also recruit, develop, and motivate staff, volunteers, and social activation scheme employees to enhance a positive work environment with particular attention to customer service.

The Store Leader will guarantee adequate staffing cover at all times to meet business needs and daily/weekly trading periods. They will also ensure that all goods offered for sale are of excellent quality and the store is kept clean and professional in appearance.

Responsibilities include managing shop accounting procedures, including banking, till receipts, transactions, and cash handling procedures. The Store Leader will also be responsible for inventory, security of equipment and fittings on the shop floor and extended premises.

Additionally, the successful candidate will take an active lead in supporting all on-going store and community-based fundraising events. They will promote the brand through local channels in a cost-effective manner while ensuring communications align with brand standards.

The Store Leader will also be accountable for health and safety in accordance with statutory obligations, including training, adherence to fire procedures, and maintenance of safety and first aid equipment.
