Home Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality person-centered care in a home environment. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for supporting clients with physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, those with palliative care needs, or those living with chronic illnesses or addiction.
Family Carers Ireland is the national charity supporting family carers across the country who dedicate their lives to caring for loved ones. We provide a range of supports and services for family carers nationally from our local support centres.
This role requires full, clean driver licence and use of your own car. You must be available to work at various times throughout the week with flexible rotas to match availability. Excellent communication and people skills are essential. You should be calm, polite, and professional while maintaining confidentiality. A kind and caring nature is required to provide quality person-centred care.
The ideal candidate will have QQI Level 5 Healthcare Modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, as well as one year paid experience in a similar caring role. Garda Vetting satisfactory is also required.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Full, clean driver licence and use of your own car
- Be available to work at various times throughout the week; flexible rotas
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Confidential and professional conduct at all times
