Senior Electrical Systems Design Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Electrical Systems Design Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and delivering electrical systems for critical infrastructure projects.

  • You will lead the development of electrical system designs, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept to completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, helping them grow in their careers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards and processes, driving continuous improvement within our organization.

Requirements:

  • Degree level (minimum level 8) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent).
  • Chartered Engineer desired, with support provided towards Chartership if not currently achieved.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale critical infrastructure projects, preferably in data centre/critical systems contexts.
  • Strong coordination skills, able to work effectively with multiple design disciplines using relevant software tools.
  • Ability to produce high-quality designs, specifications, and project reports, as well as conduct site inspections and surveys.
