About the Role
The Project Engineer will be responsible for driving projects from concept to implementation. This includes preparing project status reports, determining project schedules, arranging and chairing meetings, and assisting in process development.
Responsibilities:
- Drive projects from concept through to full implementation.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information before recommending actions to be taken.
- Determine project schedules by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
- Arrange and chair project meetings, follow up with stakeholders as required.
- Assist in the development of existing and new processes.
- Motivate team members to complete tasks on schedule.
- Supply detailed project status updates and deal with any minor project issues with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Project Engineer role preferred.
- Engineering degree or very strong technical background with a proven record of problem solving and results.
- Good organisational, analytical & time management skills essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate directly with engineers and managers.
- Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft suite and Trello advantageous.
