Leadership Opportunity: Nursing Home Director

We are seeking a highly experienced nursing home director to lead and inspire our well-established care facility in County Carlow.

About the Role
  • Manage a team of skilled professionals ensuring top-tier patient care.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • Oversight of staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing professional development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop strong relationships with external agencies and promote community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain the home's excellent reputation.
  • Implement and oversee health & safety policies, including fire safety and preventative maintenance programs.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years of management experience in older person care.
  • Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with sound decision-making skills.
