Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced project manager to lead our team on high-profile telecoms/power projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and the ability to manage multiple teams and projects.

  • The ideal candidate will report directly to the contracts managers and directors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all levels.
  • They will be responsible for selecting and coordinating subcontractors, as well as managing plant, machinery, and equipment.
  • A key aspect of the role is to motivate and communicate with site teams, promoting a culture of excellence and high-quality workmanship.
  • Liaising with the health and safety team is crucial, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed and processed in a timely manner.
  • As the primary point of contact for the client, they will attend meetings and maintain regular communication, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Maintaining quality standards on site and achieving maximum cost effectiveness are vital aspects of the role.
  • The project manager will coordinate daily site meetings and attend senior management meetings, providing updates and insights on project progress.
  • In the event of an emergency, they will take charge and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of management experience, preferably in managing multiple civil teams and projects.
  • Experience managing complex site-based projects is essential, along with being highly organized and possessing exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fantastic communication skills and confidence in using Microsoft Office are also required.
  • The candidate should have knowledge of current health and safety legislation and hold a full driving license.
