Role Overview

The Pharma Scientist will work at our GMP Laboratories in Ireland. This role involves complex sample preparation and analytical procedures to measure small molecules using various instrumentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex samples for analysis.
  • Execute analysis procedures to measure pharmaceutical compounds.
  • Review and compile results.
  • Perform tasks accurately, timely, and safely.
  • Train on routine operation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation.
  • Work with multiple teams to meet business needs.
  • Maintain analytical instrumentation.
  • Ensure quality findings are addressed.
  • Communicate project status to leaders.
  • Perform tasks accurately, timely, and safely.
  • Analyse data for technical, quality, and compliance purposes.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry or biochemistry.
  • 2+ years' experience in a GMP laboratory with experience in HPLC, GC, MS, Dissolution testing, Karl Fischer, UV-vis, FT-IR, and TOC.

In some cases, an equivalency consisting of education, training, and/or experience may be considered sufficient for the role.

  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of method validation; method development is an advantage.
  • Ability to plan and carry out work for successful project completion.

  • Ability to write protocols and reports with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
