Job Overview

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the operation of a leading fuel, convenience and fast & fresh food location in County Kildare.

The successful candidate will provide operational leadership to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), customer service standards, and financial targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team across all store functions, including front-of-house and food service operations.
  • Collaborate with off-site group functions to support site performance.
  • E nsure compliance with relevant Health & Safety and HACCP regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of site presentation and operation.
  • Drive sales, front-facing brand presence, and customer engagement.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop talent.
  • Monitor and respond to operational challenges.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of five years senior management experience.
  • Excellent people management and communications skills.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, retention, and staff development.
  • Customer service focused with the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety and HACCP regulations.
  • Strong sales, marketing, and PR awareness.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Employment Details
  • Job type: Full-time, permanent site-based position on a flexible five days over seven working arrangement.
  • Salary and benefits negotiable.

This role is part of a family-owned business operating since 1954, with interests in motor dealerships, agricultural machinery, and forecourt convenience services. The business operates several outlets, including Chopped, Zambrero, Papa John's, Chicken Guys, Insomnia, Off Beat Donuts, and Spar.
