Transformation Lead (Contract) ERP

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with numerous projects and initiatives. The role reports to a portfolio manager and will oversee the delivery of all retail projects from initiation through to successful conclusion.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Commerce, IT or a related field and a PMP or Prince2 certification. They must have 10+ years of experience delivering complex commercial and technology projects in a large-scale environment around Retail / consumer goods / Supply chain & distribution.

  • Oversee the delivery of all retail projects from initiation through to successful conclusion
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, forecasts, manage project deliverables and scope, resolve cross-functional issues and change control
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are documented and agreed
  • Manage any migration from a business readiness perspective, ensure solutions are migrated accordingly, users are trained as appropriate, operational support plans are in place and the business is ready to launch
  • Effectively control risks and issues, manage dependencies within your workstream and as part of the wider transformation program as required, escalation of issues to senior stakeholders as appropriate
  • Monitor project progress and performance, budget tracking, governance and reporting at a project level
  • Contribute at a program level in areas such as cross-workstream dependency management, governance, quality assurance, delivery frameworks and communities of practice

The candidate should have substantial commercial acumen with good vendor and system integrator management experience, experience at a strategy level and broad exposure to change management and business readiness techniques.

They should also be comfortable working with enterprise platforms, both bespoke digital technology and integration, and off-the-shelf platforms.

Additional relevant skills include: Mergers & Acquisitions, business restructuring, eCommerce, Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management systems, EPOS, mobile apps, software development.
